All three buttons can be opened, but they are not designed to adjust the neck size.
Fit & Sizing
The measurements below are the finished neck circumference of the bandana after all buttons are fastened. They are product measurements, not recommended dog body measurements.
Measure around the base of your dog’s neck where the bandana will sit. Select a size that leaves comfortable room between your dog’s neck and the finished bandana circumference. You should be able to slide two fingers comfortably between the bandana and your dog’s neck.
Because the neck circumference is not adjustable, do not select a size with a finished measurement equal to or smaller than your dog’s actual neck circumference.

How to Put It On
Option 1: Slip-On
Thanks to the flexible knit, the bandana can be gently slipped over your dog’s head and positioned around the neck.
Option 2: Button Closure
Open all three buttons, wrap the bandana around your dog’s neck and overlap the two ends at the front of the chest. Fasten all three buttons, then check that the bandana sits comfortably without feeling tight.
For dogs with larger heads or dogs that dislike pull-on clothing, we recommend using the button-opening method.
